We have it instilled in us that this special birthday ranks up there in importance as much as a first date, prom, graduation or even a wedding day. These parties can be small and intimate to large and extravagant. It’s a party where your imagination and individuality will shine.

An Event Manger is here to help make the planning and day of stress-free. They are there to answer any questions, help at vendor arrival time and set up small decor. You are able to choose from our extensive and delicious menus. You won’t stop hearing your guests rave about the wonderful food.

You have freedom to bring in your own vendors to help decorate, provide the sweets, capture the night and provide the entertainment.

How Do You Make Your Dream Come True?

1. Determine Your Budget

First things first: decide on a budget.

2. Choose a Date or a couple of Possible Dates

Keep an open mind just in case your first choice isn’t available.

3. Envision Your Day

When you dream about your big day, what do you picture? These thoughts will help you along your planning path. Start saving pins, cutting out magazine photos and compiling all your ideas.

4. Choose Your Venue

That’s The Royal Crest Room! The place where it’ll all take place! Don’t wait too long.

5. Ask Your Friends

Quince planning includes determining your court of honor or bridal party should happen relatively early on, as you might include some of these friends in your planning. Not sure how to ask your friends to be on your court? You can find fun ideas on how to do “Quince Court-posals”.

6. For your Quince, consider asking for Padrinos

If you plan on asking padrinos to help with your event, make sure you have an idea of who will be in charge of what! We recommend thinking of this early on, that way you’re not rushing to ask last minute.

7. Go Vendor Shopping

Your vendors are the people you will hire to work your events, such as your photographer, DJ, and florist. You’ll want to interview a few of each so you can make a well-informed decision. We have some really wonderful people we’d love to let you know about.

8. Go Dress Shopping

Shopping for the dress should happen around 9 months prior to your event. This allows plenty of time for shipping and alterations.

9. Buy Invitations

You should start shopping for invitations at least 6 months in advance because you will want to order them 5 months before your event date. You should have a good idea of your event theme and color scheme at this point so you can choose your invitation style. It’s also important that you have your venue booked before you order invites so you can include those pertinent details!

10. Create a menu

Work with the birthday girl to decide on what kind of food you’ll be serving to your guests. Think of unique snacks, desserts, and appetizers that are fun. We’ll work with you on the menu. Ask anyone who has held their child’s birthday party themselves in their own home – doing all the setup, cleaning, cooking and more cleaning. Going with The Royal Crest Room is the absolute best way to reduce that stress! You’ll actually all get to enjoy the party with us!

11. Prep for the big day 

Prepare your décor, supplies necessary for games and activities. Fill the party favor bags, wrap the birthday girl’s gift, and double check that you have everything you need in order to make this a Quince or Sweet 16th to remember! Even if you think you have a great memory, keeping lists during the planning process will keep you organized and ensure that you don’t forget anything. Once you finish a task on your list, don’t forget to check it off so that you’ll feel accomplished. And keep a written list of your vendor’s contact information on hand in case of an emergency. Don’t forget to keep track of the RSVP’s, too!

12. Plan the Details

All the details come after all these other things have fallen into place. These details are things like deciding on your menus, centerpieces and aisle runners, creating your seat chart, and nailing down your day-of timeline. Let us know if you need assistance or direction!
